The International Mountain Bicycling Association's (IMBA) Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew will be in Houghton, August 1st-4th to talk trails, teach people proper trail building technique and spend quality time digging in the dirt. The visit is hosted by the Copper Harbor Trails Club and is one of about 60 stops on the 2013 schedule. Everyone is invited to attend the weekend events and all events are free to attend!

Guys - Are you feeling left out that your ladies will be having all the fun at the upcoming Women's Weekend in Copper Harbor over July 19-21? Well, no need to worry because processional rider Kirt Voreis, whom also happens to be Lindsey's husband, will be in the harbor leading a dudes enduro clinic for Saturday July 20th. Class begins at 10 am and runs through 4pm with a lunch brake in between. Topics the course will cover include: cornering, jumps, drops, utilizing your bikes full suspension, braking, and proper bike setup. Cost for the course will be $75 and include shuttle service. Lunch will be on your own on the trail so bring a good ol brown bag like mom used to pack you! Post class meet up at the Brick Side Brewery to recap the day and cut loose Kirt Voreis style!
