Behind The Build:
A day of learning, laughing, and Loving your trails.

Our trails don’t maintain themselves! This is your chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the techniques and teamwork that keep Copper Harbor riding beautifully — while making a direct impact.

When & Where:

Saturday, July 19th

Who it's For:

Trail lovers, riders, hikers, and anyone curious about what it takes to maintain world-class singletrack. No experience needed.

What to expect:

Hands-on trail work led by pros, meaningful learning, and a fun, rewarding community experience.

You’ll be grouped with one of our expert builders to tackle topics like:

  • Brushing and vegetation removal

  • Drain clearing and water control

  • Feature repair and dirt work

  • Loose rock/gravel cleanup

  • Debris and tree removal (pending need)

  • Bridge Overhauls

Each group will focus on a different part of trail care — with real impact, real tools, and real know-how.

Stick around afterward for a laid-back cookout and beerluck — location TBD

We’ll be grilling up hotdogs and brats and will have snacks on hand, so bring your appetite!

What to bring:

  • Work gloves (provided if needed)

  • Water (available if needed)

  • Closed-toed shoes

  • A friend!

  • A side dish, snack, or 6-pack to share 🍻

No experience necessary — just show up ready to learn and contribute. We’ll provide the tools, the teaching, and the trails.
